Health notice
We want you to practise with confidence and without getting hurt. Please read this calmly before you start.
Before you start
Check with your doctor before starting any exercise program, especially if you have osteoporosis, heart or blood pressure problems, a joint replacement, a recent injury, dizziness, if you have had an operation or if you are pregnant.
While you practise
Listen to your body. Move without forcing and within a comfortable range. Use a chair, the wall or cushions whenever you need to: adapting an exercise is not doing it worse, it is doing it right.
When to stop
Stop if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest pressure or any unusual discomfort. If the symptoms do not pass, call your country’s emergency number: 112 in Spain and the European Union.
Prepare your space
Practise somewhere clear, with good light and a floor that is not slippery. Keep water nearby and, if you use a chair, make sure it is stable and has no wheels.
About recommendations
Every class says whether you will get down on the floor or need a chair, a wall or any props, and what it is gentle on (for example, “Osteoporosis friendly”). The app uses the considerations you tell us about to show you the most suitable classes first. Even so, these are for guidance only: every body is different, and you and your doctor know best what suits you.
Noba’s classes are for guidance only and do not replace the advice, diagnosis or treatment of a healthcare professional. By practising, you agree to do so at your own risk, within the limits set by law. More in the terms and conditions.
