Terms and conditions
Last updated: 27 September 2026
This is an English translation. If there is any difference, the Spanish version prevails.
In short
- Noba is an app of yoga, strength and mobility classes with Belén Mendoza.
- The Premium subscription is paid through Apple, renews automatically and can be cancelled at any time in your iPhone’s Settings.
- The classes are for your personal use and belong to Belén Mendoza.
- They are not medical advice: check with your doctor before you start, and stop if anything hurts.
1. Who provides the service
As required by Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services and e-commerce (LSSI), Noba and this website belong to:
- Provider
- Miguel Ridruejo Mendoza
- Tax ID (NIF)
- 02585581J
- Address
- Carrer de Elisa, 24, 08023 Barcelona, Spain
- hola@nobaapp.com
In these terms, “we” means the provider and “you” means the person using Noba.
2. What Noba is
Noba is an iPhone app with video classes of yoga, strength, mobility, balance, breathing and meditation taught by one teacher, Belén Mendoza, designed for women aged 55 and over. It includes programs, collections, personalised recommendations, a practice log, a meditation timer, downloads to watch classes offline and notices of live sessions.
3. Acceptance and Apple’s licence
By creating an account or using Noba you accept these terms. Please read them calmly; if you do not agree, do not use the app.
Your use of the app is also governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Apple’s standard EULA). These terms complement it. Apple is not responsible for Noba or its content.
Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
4. Your account
- Noba is designed for adults and is not directed at children under 16.
- You can sign in with your email (we send you a one-time code) or with Apple. Keep access to your email and your iPhone safe: anyone who can read your codes can get into your account.
- Your account is personal. Do not share or sell it.
- A subscription belongs to one Noba account only: the account it was bought with.
- If you share your iPhone, sign out when you finish: this removes your practice data from the device.
5. Premium subscription and free trial
- Plans. Premium gives access to all classes and programs. There is a monthly and an annual plan, both auto-renewing. Prices, including taxes, are shown in the app and on the App Store before you confirm the purchase.
- Paid through Apple. The purchase is made and charged to your Apple Account. We never see your card details.
- 7-day free trial. If this is your first subscription, you can try Premium free for 7 days, subject to Apple’s rules for introductory offers. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, it becomes a paid subscription and you are charged for the plan you chose.
- Automatic renewal. The subscription renews at the end of each period and Apple charges you within the 24 hours before, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- How to cancel. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions; or, in the app, go to Account → Subscription → Manage subscription. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Deleting the app or your account does not cancel the subscription. You need to cancel it in the App Store.
- Refunds. These are handled by Apple under its policies; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly. If you have a statutory right of withdrawal as a consumer, you exercise it with Apple under its terms.
- Price changes. If the price changes, Apple will tell you in advance and, where the law requires, ask you to agree before the next renewal.
- New iPhone. Sign in with the same Noba account and, if needed, tap Restore purchases in Account → Subscription.
6. Free content
Without a subscription you can use the welcome guide and a selection of free classes. We may change which classes are free from time to time.
7. Changes to the classes
We add classes regularly and sometimes update or retire some. We will try to make sure Premium always keeps a broad catalogue. Live sessions take place on external platforms that the app links to, which have their own terms.
8. Acceptable use
The classes are for your personal, non-commercial practice. You may not:
- Copy, record, download outside the app, redistribute or publish the classes.
- Show them in public or use them to teach other people.
- Share your account or try to get around the access protection on the videos.
- Decompile the app, interfere with how it works or use it in a way that harms others.
- Send offensive or abusive messages to Belén or to our team.
9. Intellectual property
The classes (videos, audio, texts and programs) belong to Belén Mendoza. The app, the Noba brand and its design belong to the provider of the service or its licensors.
While you have access, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to watch the classes in the app. No other rights are transferred to you.
10. Health notice
Noba’s classes are for guidance only and are not medical advice. They do not replace the advice, diagnosis or treatment of a healthcare professional.
- Check with your doctor before starting any exercise program, especially if you have osteoporosis, heart or blood pressure problems, a joint replacement, a recent injury, dizziness, if you have had an operation or if you are pregnant.
- Listen to your body. Move without forcing, within a comfortable range, and use a chair, the wall or cushions whenever you need to.
- Stop if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest pressure or any unusual discomfort. If the symptoms do not pass, call the emergency number: 112 in Spain and the EU.
- Labels such as “Osteoporosis friendly” and the app’s recommendations are for guidance only: every body is different.
You practise at your own risk, within the limits the law allows (see section 12). Read the full health notice.
11. Availability of the service
We work to keep Noba running at all times, but there may be interruptions for maintenance, updates or reasons beyond our control. You need an iPhone with a compatible version of iOS (as stated on the App Store) and an internet connection, except for downloaded classes.
12. Liability
If you are a consumer, you have the rights the law gives you, in particular under the Spanish consumer protection law (Texto Refundido de la Ley General para la Defensa de los Consumidores y Usuarios), including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services. Nothing in these terms limits them.
We are liable for damage caused by our intent or fault, and nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or in any other case where the law does not allow it to be limited.
Outside those cases, we are not liable for damage caused by using Noba contrary to these terms or to the health notice, or for failures beyond our control, such as your connection, your device or third-party services (for example, Apple or the platforms used for live sessions).
13. Leaving and suspension
- You can stop using Noba whenever you like and delete your account from the app, in Account → Account details → Delete account. Remember to cancel your subscription in the App Store too.
- We may suspend or close an account for a serious breach of these terms (for example, redistributing the classes). Unless it is not possible, we will warn you first and explain why.
- If we ever close the service, we will give you reasonable notice.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example if the app or the law changes. If a change is significant, we will let you know in the app before it applies. If you do not agree, you can cancel your subscription and delete your account.
15. Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you can bring any claim before the courts of your place of residence, and you keep the protection given to you by the laws of your country of residence.
First of all, write to us at hola@nobaapp.com: almost everything can be solved by talking. You can also contact your local consumer affairs office.
